Seattle True Foodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I found this cool local group here in Seattle that gets together weekly for food meetups to try out local flavors around Seattle. It's a chance to get your grub on at a cool place and a chance to meet new people who also share a fond interest in food. The next upcoming event is this weekend, the chosen restaurant is "La Teranga", a Senegalese restaurant, it features a mix of French, Portugese, Sub-Saharan and North African culture in their cuisine. It is said that the Sengalese chefs are very passionate about their traditional dishes and they enjoy presenting them to newcomers. "La Teranga" means hospitality in the Senegalese dialect called "Wolof" And some of the items that have been suggested that we try are:

Poulet yassa
Touba Coffee
Thichou Yapp
Bouye (baobab fruit drink)

Another upcoming foods meetup will be at Naan and Curry Indian restaurant in downtown Renton, I may check this one out. I like a good Curry every now and then.

All in all,  Seattle True Foodies is a cool way to meet other Foodies while enjoying and exploring different cuisines together.

Cheers to Seattle True Foodies!
