Catching Up...................

So, it's been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, I've had a busy schedule with work and just being on the go alot lately. Work is great, lots of overtime going on, I'm working 50+ hours each week, I pretty much work, eat and sleep, but it's all good, gotta make that money:):) I'm really thankful to God for this opportunity, it's a chance for me to really start to save and catch up on some things. It's a good feeling to have money in the bank and to be able to buy what you want to buy.

This weekend I splurged and treated myself to a manicure/pedicure, and the hair salon, so nice and refreshing. And how can I forget I bought a cool pair of Guess shoes and a new Dooney & Burke purse. Yes, Dooney & Burke, this will be my first one and I'm so stoked about it! Oh and how can I forget I started reading the 2nd book in the Fifty Shades Trilogy, it's starting off really good, gosh I'm really liking this series and I find myself relating to the characters in the book and it may sound weird or funny but I like Christian Grey, well you have to read the book to understand what I mean. Believe me it's hard to put this book down, you want to keep reading and reading.

My new Dooney bag, love it!

It's been a Netflix Weekend!

Watched an interested movie on Netflix last night, called "In The Land of Blood And Honey", it was about the war in Bosnia back in the 90's. It's kind of long, little disturbing but good. This movie was actually produced and directed by Angelina Jolie which I find quite interesting, I didn't know she directed movies too.

And I watched another movie called "Silenced", a Korean movie with English subtitles, this was based on a true story about a school for deaf children. This movie was interesting but also a little disturbing. I don't know what it was but this weekend seemed to be the weekend of intense, serious movies. So next weekend, I need to add a little humor or romance to my selection of movies, keep it light.

I also got to chat with an old friend which was really nice, it's always good to re-connect and catch up.

Overall it was a good weekend, I'm feeling refreshed and ready to start another busy, productive week at work.

Cheers to a great week ahead!
