Started the day off with the weekly coffee tasting at SBUX. The flavor today was "Jamaica Blue Mountain" has notes of citrus fruit and smooth milk chocolate complemented by intense satisfying aromas. This rare coffee is cultivated using rigorous standards of excellence and certified authentic and is nurtured in the blue tinted mountain mist of Jamaica. This coffee is best if paired with nuts, chocolate, citrus or baking spices.
We paired this coffee with a chocolate, hazelnut cookie and it really brought out the flavor in this coffee. And by the way this coffee sells for $30 for half a pound. Ouch! Ouch!
I'm loving the weekly Thursday coffee tastings. It's a great way to see what new SBUX flavors are coming out. I'm going to be a coffee master soon!
My boss placed me on a special project on the AP Reconciliation Team for two months so I'm pretty stoked about this. Seems like they like my work performance and are very confident in me, guess they like me. It's gonna be challenging but I'm up for it. This is my opportunity to really prove myself and get some good exposure and visibility. I'm gonna be a star player!!!!!!!!!!

I'm on a Country Music binge! I have always liked Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Shania Twain but I would listen just every now and then to their music, So I have been burning up Pandora all week listening to all kinds of country stuff. I think it's because of a really nice movie I saw called "Country Strong". Hmmmm maybe deep down in side I'm a country girl at heart! I did grow up in a small town around lots of good ol' country folk (haha)

The long labor day weekend is coming up, last weekend of the summer. I'm soaking up all this nice sunshine while I can because the cold, rain and darkness is just around the corner I know. I'm not really looking forward to it. It's gonna be a kick back relax good food weekend!
