On a side note it's been over a year since I have been sick and had to see a doctor and this is my first time being sick here in Seattle. And I guess I feel pretty lonely being here sick all by myself, yes I'm feeling like a little baby. But luckily Grand Peking Chinese restaurant has been my best friend all week, their delicious soup and warm noodles have comforted me all week. Thanks Grand Peking!

Week Long Flu Bug...................
It's been a long long week being sick with this yucky flu bug. It started Monday evening with a painful sore throat and a fever. I swear I felt like I had been hit by a truck or freight train, something like that. On Tuesday I went to work but I felt so bad and gradually my stomach started bothering me and that became a complete mess as you can well imagine. Let's just say I barely made it home from work before my insides came out, I actually felt like my insides were being sucked out. Okay, enough description, ha ha ha. You get the picture:):) I spent Tuesday evening and night mostly in and out of the bathroom and when Wednesday morning rolled around I was in no shape or form to make an appearance at work, so I eagerly called in sick and spent the whole day in bed going in and out of sleep and sometimes watching a little TV. It felt really good to take a day of rest but I noticed my tummy was getting a little better but my throat still felt awful, it felt like gravel or rocks in my throat and I could feel the tightness going to my chest and my head was starting to feel congested. Oh gosh, this thing plans to run it's full course on me. Well, I went back to work on Thursday thinking I would feel better getting out moving around but no that wasn't the case. As Thursday wore on, my throat was the same and a cough was developing. Oh no, not the horrible cough too!!! And by Friday it was a full blown choking cough that would not cease and I had no voice when I woke up (surprise, surprise). Despite the Mucinex, cough drops, hot liquid drinks, nothing helped. I sit at my desk all day miserable and praying for 4pm to come so I could go home. 4pm finally came and I couldn't have been happier. As I am typing this, I am laying in bed still sick, coughing, sneezing, sinus congestion, sore throat, puffy eyes, runny nose, I guess you could say I'm a mess. Enough trying to let this flu bug run it's course I plan to see a Doctor ASAP on Saturday. I need Meds ASAP! Antiobiotics Please! Give me something to make me sleep and quiet this damn cough:):)
