I have this passion and love for Arabic food and music, it's amazing. For the past couple of years I have been listening to Arabic music, it started with a friend posting a song on Facebook for Amr Diab and after that I was hooked. Amr Diab is my absolute favorite.
You probably wonder or want to ask, why do you like this music, how do you understand it? And to answer your question, it is so passionate and meaningful and some of the songs really touch your heart, they are absolutely beautiful and of course now days you can get anything translated to English so yes I do understand the Arabic songs:):)
Some of the incredible artists I have come to like very much are Elissa, Haifa Wehbe, Ragheb Alama and Melhem Zein to mention a few, they are all from Lebanon. And the cool thing is they sometimes come every year to the U.S. and perform at places such as Vegas. So I'm hoping to catch one of my favorite performers in action very soon....................
Over the past couple years my list of Arabic songs has multiplied, thanks to my habibi, he has sent me many sweet songs that have touched my heart, shukrani to my wonderful habibi. I feel so lucky to have been exposed to this incredibly talented music scene. I have added a few links of some of the wonderful music in case anyone would like to check them out.
